Your new arrival will be welcomed into the world in a comfortable, home-like atmosphere. Our team of highly qualified physicians and nursing staff will be ready with the best service available. One on one, personalized care is the hallmark of Wright Maternity Center.

Here is what awaits you and your baby:

• Personal attention and superb care. We pride ourselves in our individual nursing care and family centered services.
• Labor-Delivery-Recovery and Postpartum Rooms: Our attractively decorated suites were designed with your comfort in mind. Each room is equipped with a bed, table and chairs, rocker/recliner and a private bath with shower to provide you with the comforts of home. A television, refrigerator and VCR are available for use in your room during your entire stay. Storage space is also provided for personal belongings.
• Rooming-In: This provides the mother with special bonding time with her newborn. The baby and crib are kept in the mother's room for part or all of the day.
• Prenatal & Childbirth Classes: These classes are offered several times throughout the year and taught by a certified Lamaze instructor. Breathing and relaxation techniques, stages of labor and pain management are several topics covered.
• 24-hour Pain Management: With an anesthetist available, mothers-to-be and their physicians have the option to manage labor anytime, day or night, to make the birthing process more comfortable with an epidural or intrathecal injection.
• After Delivery Services: We help in every way to make you, your family and your baby comfortable. We offer on-staff breast feeding educators, massage therapy, open visiting hours and informal sessions on baby development and parenting. At Wright Medical Center, we want to help plan and share this most joyous occasion of your life.
• Safety/Security: For the safety of your baby, mothers and newborns receive an identification bracelet immediately following delivery. This ensures a safe and secure environment for your new baby.
• Hearing Screening: Newborn hearing screening is available to all babies born at Wright Medical Center to ensure early prevention and detection of hearing loss.
• Blood Screening:  Newborn blood screening is performed on all babies to rule out amino acid disorders, fatty acid disorders, organic acid disorders, congenital adrenal hyperplasia, congenital hypothyroidism, biotinidase deficiency, Cystic Fibrosis and hemoglobinopathies.
