**I was pleased with the professionalism of the entire staff while my mother was a surgical patient at your facility.    Her care was exceptional, timely and responsive to her needs.     If I lived closer, I wouldn't hesitate to come to your facility myself.   I also heard about your facility and its superior care from a coworker who works for you on an intermittent basis.    The warm cookie delivered straight from the oven by your staff was the perfect end to my mother's stay.    I have shared our experiences and highly recommended your facility to those I work with and as an example of what can be done in rural hospitals.  As family we were asked for some feedback for improvement.    I work as an RN at the hospital in Mankato.   We have several things that we have incorporated into our everyday practice that you may be working toward also, but that I didn't observe:    foam in, foam out; scanning medications; staff in specific colors so roles are more easily recognized by patients/families; asking name/birthdate (using two forms of identification) prior to giving any medications.    Best wishes on your journey.   You have a great facility and staff.   I have talked to senior leadership and nursing management at our facility to look at what you have accomplished - as a regional center we have many smaller hospitals in our system that could learn from you.

**Wellmark Insurance Company has me on a list to call every month or so. Each time when they remark how well my care is progressing, I give them a good report and tell them to go to the web and type in Wright Medical Center.com. We have an outstanding facility and many of the local people don’t know it or won’t believe it.

**In March of 2009 I began my first journey into the world of cancer but because of the WONDERFUL Dr. Nagel and his staff, I was never once afraid. He moved heaven and earth to put me into who he thought would be the best oncology staff in the state. It was to become one of the longest journeys of my life, but with them at my side there was no question that I would be alright. I do not like other hospitals, having always gone to WMC for all my health needs; when I needed blood transfusions through the course of my treatment, Dr. Nagel worked hand in hand with my oncologist and I was able to receive treatment there in Clarion. When I had questions that my oncologist would not answer, Dr. Nagel did and he explained everything to me in lay terms until I understood and was comfortable. I have just finished 16 months of treatment and am now in remission with a good future. I can not express adequately the high esteem I hold for Dr. Nagel and his staff, and there is no question in my mind that I would not have made it this far without their positive support. They will forever be close to my heart.
