  • Vacation - 2 weeks after 1 year; 3 weeks after 5 years; 4 weeks after 10 years; 5 weeks after 20 years
  • Sick - 8 hours sick time each month to a maximum of 360 hours; Earned time available after maximum accrual
  • Holiday - 8 paid holidays per year

  • Life Insurance - $50,000 policy, supplemental available

Employment

Nurses at Wright Medical Center Hospital enjoy working collaboratively with other clinical services on patient care planning, including approachable physicians who truly value the "team" concept. Our average nurse/patient ratio is 1:4. Other clinical care providers blend state-of-the-art technology with a warm, healing environment to provide patient-focused care and comfort. A variety of support positions round out the team, including admitting, patient accounting, health information, housekeeping, and nutrition services.

Volunteering

Wright Medical Center has lots of opportunities for volunteers. The WMC Auxiliary organizes several blood drives each year, operates a wonderful Gift Shop, conducts various fund raisers throughout the year, and donates many hours of help to the hospital in many aspects throughout the different departments. If you are interested in doing some worthwhile work for a good cause, please come and share your time and talents in a caring and loving environment.
